Flat, more stable and more high-performance: SCHUNK has further developed its VERO-S NSA plus palletizing module especially for automated machine tool loading and upgraded it to its new NSA3 generation. The stainless steel clamping module is part of the extensive SCHUNK VERO-S modular system for efficient workpiece clamping. The NSA3 is 100% installation compatible with the previous model.

Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz took the opportunity to find out more about the planned project Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (Ipai). At the invitation of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation, he informed himself about this pioneering applied artificial intelligence project (AI) on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

At the 14th German Mechanical Engineering Summit in Berlin, representatives of the German mechanical and plant engineering industry as well as politicians discussed the challenges currently facing the sector. A boost for automation from SCHUNK: With the TANDEM BWA clamping force blocks, fully automatic clamping of different workpieces in small batch sizes is possible. The chuck jaws of the latest clamping force block generation can be changed flexibly with the robot. This leads to an enormous reduction in set-up times, especially for multiple applications and tombstones.
